New
Zealand Military Historical Society
www.nzmhs.org.nz
The Society was formed to foster the study of New Zealand Military History, defined as the History of Warfare in New Zealand and of New Zealanders at War.
Our aims and objectives are to encourage research into history, traditions, uniforms, insignia, arms and all aspects of militaria.
Many members are acknowledged experts in various aspects of the services and are only too willing to advise those less experienced, be it in collecting militaria or in the knowledge of source material for those interested in research.
We publish our journal, The Volunteers, three times a year. It contains a wide range of articles of interest from each of the services, including details of research that has been carried out by members and others. We are constantly seeking information that would be suitable for publication in our journal, and your assistance with this could be invaluable.
